Everybody Ain't Triggered
Before anybody gets triggered by the title… LISTEN. 😂
Your guy Nerdy G is not attacking mental health. Real anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and other mental-health challenges deserve to be taken seriously.
But we need to talk about something.
Have we reached a point where some people use “I’m triggered” whenever they don’t want to answer a question, complete a responsibility, go somewhere, or explain how they really feel?
In this episode of Oh That’s Random Podcast, Nerdy G discusses:
- The difference between struggling and avoiding accountability
- Why people must learn to communicate their feelings
- Children and adults using mental-health terminology
- How misusing “triggered” can hurt people who genuinely need support
- Why isolation isn’t always the answer
- Being honest when you simply don’t want to do something
- How our actions influence the way people see us
- Doing things you don’t necessarily want to do
Sometimes you’re genuinely triggered.
Sometimes you’re overwhelmed.
And sometimes… you just don’t want to go get that ice cream. 😂
It’s okay to say that—but be honest, communicate, and take accountability.
